Achievements:

• Mr. Rajwant Rao, is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Law, at Thakur Ramnarayan College of Law, Dahisar, Mumbai. Before joining Thakur Ramnarayan College of Law, he was working as Assistant Professor (Law) at MATS Law School, MATS University, Raipur (June 2016 to June 2018).
• He also holds the experience of working with Prof. Dr. G.P Tripathi, former Director, MATS University and Distinguished Prof. of Law in India.
• He assisted him to write a book on “Affirmative Action in India”. He is currently enrolled as a Doctoral Candidate in the Ph.D. Degree programme at Galgotias University, Greater Noida.
• He has completed his Master of Laws (LLM) in Corporate Law from National Law University, Jodhpur in 2016.
• His research during LLM was primarily focused on "Price – Fixing Cartels in India: A Comparative Analysis with USA &EU”.
• He has done his M.Phil. in Corporate Law; his research area was “FDI in Civil Aviation in India” (under the supervision of Prof. Dr.G.P. Tripathi). He had also done Master of Laws in Business law from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra in 2012.
• In addition to that he has also carry the exposure of 5 years working in leading law firms of India, he was an associate of Adv. Mr. Vijay Agarwal. He has appeared before various District Courts, Delhi High Court, CAT and Consumer Forums and successfully handled many clients namely 2G spectrum Case, Coal Scam, COUTONS India Pvt. Ltd. etc
• He was the co- editor of MATS LAW JOURNAL 2017 ISSUE-I, ISSN NO- 2250-3889(A UGC Referred Journal) and coordinator of Global seminar on UCC. He chaired Model United Nation at ITM University, Raipur and judged International Moot Court at MATS University in collaboration with Indo European Education Foundation, Warsaw (Poland).
• He has received the honor to chair a technical session at International Conference on Current Development in Law, Society and Economy; ICCDLSE 2018 He is an external question paper setter by School of Law, Galgotias University, Greater Noida. He also is external advisory member of Moot court committee at ITM University, Raipur.
• He was also appointed as coordinator of Teaching Team IDIA (Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access to Legal Education) (2011- 2012)- An initiative taken by Prof. Shamnad Basheer and Justice Ruma Pal (Supreme Court Judge of India) He has presented Research Papers at National and International Conferences; and has publications in national and international Journals (Available at Academia).
